Lately, I have been taking a lot of images of the people around me. I think that normally a shot of a friend to me isn't as interesting as a shot of a stranger. That is mostly because I already know their story and can't use my imagination. Here are a couple shots that have changed that for me a little bit.

Firefighters not fighting fire

These couple of shots are from a series I am currently working on. Firefighters always get the hero status and only have photographs of them fighting fires and rescuing people. But, the reality is that in smaller towns, firefighters don't get as much action as you would think. The behind the scenes are where you can really find out what a firefighter is truly like.
