Light and Layers
Lately, I have been trying to find some better light and work with layering a lot more. Here is a couple shots of the firefighters.
Shooting slum
Well, I have not been able to shoot one good picture in the last couple of days. This is the only photo in 4 days that I like even a little bit. Mostly a texture thing. Whatever. Hopefully this slum lifts very soon. UGH.
Northwood Estates Apartment Fire
Around 7 pm on April 21st the tones went off and the call went out for a reported structure fire. Here are some shots from the fire. Only had flames for about ten minutes before they put it out.
A Weekend of Fires
This weekend was crazy. Two big fires in two days. The first one was on Saturday in New Brunswick. Heres some shots from that.
Then, on Sunday there was a massive brush fire in South River and Sayreville. The fire originated on the South River side and jumped over the river to the Sayreville side. There were so many fire trucks from so many towns. They even had an airplane that was dropping water to put it out. Here are photos from that.
Readington River Buffalo Farm
So, this morning I headed over to the only buffalo farm in New Jersey to start a new photo story. I shot for about two hours and got some shots I like. I decided the story will be in Black and White. Here is a couple shots from the day. Some harsh lighting when I was there. Buffalo are sweet.
